History of Java

The birth of the Java language was preceded by a rather interesting story. In 1990, the Sun Microsystems' software developer named Patrick Naughton realized that he was tired of supporting hundreds of different software interfaces used by the company, and informed Sun Microsystems' CEO and friend Scott McNealy of his intention to move to NeXT company. McNeely, in turn, asked Naughton to make a list of the reasons for his discontent and put forward such a solution to the problems as if he was God and could fulfill anything.

What is Java good for?
Java is a software platform and multi-paradigm programming language.

The Java slogan "Write Once, Run Anywhere" well reflects the main perk of this programming language. The programmer does not need to write different implementations of the same code for different operating systems. The JVM (Java Virtual Machine) will do everything. This is a code interpretation environment that translates code into instructions that are understandable to each OS and processor.

In addition, programming is often started with this language.

C Programming

C language is used in areas where the program must be closely interacting with the hardware. C, C++, C#, Java, and Objective-C appeared under strong influence of C.

C is sometimes called a subset of C++ or "C++ without classes", but this is not completely true. C language appeared earlier than C++.

C supports only procedural programming. No classes, OOP, inheritance, incapsulation - only functions and structures.
