Ukraine is waiting for a decision from Rammstein-2 on MLRS
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expects a decision to transfer Ukraine to multiple rocket launchers from an online meeting of defense ministers of more than 40 countries in Rammstein.
The head of the Ukrainian state said this during a joint briefing with the Prime Minister of Portugal Antonio Costa in Kyiv.
"Such meetings are already a positive result. We expect ai immediate supply of MLRS (multiple rocket launcher system - ed.). I have no secrets. We appeal to all countries to supply MLRS systems, thanks to which Ukraine will be able to take the initiative and liberate its territory, " - he said.
He appealed to representatives of countries that are afraid to provide Ukraine with appropriate weapons, allegedly because of the possible use of it to attack the Russian Federation.
Zelensky reminded that Ukrainians are waging war on their territory.
"If somebody from European countries is used to the fact that Donbas is the occupied territory of Russia, I want to say that it is not a very good habit. This is our territory, " - the Ukrainian head of state stressed.
Zelensky also said that the Russian Federation at various levels is blackmailing the world through the transfer of MLRS to Ukraine.
"You don't have to be afraid - you have to unite. Unification is exactly what the Russian Federation fears. It fears a strong union that the European Union and the United States will act as one. This is very important for us. We really need military assistance, " - the President stressed.
